Left hook NaPoWriMo #20

Wading through blurred lines helpless.
Impassive, enui anchored
around blistered ankles
can’t walk this path
without bending
breaking
stop.
One
little glimmer
broke silently on
the ripples of torrentous
cumulative clouds above and
that was enough to warrant a smile

  1. I like how you’ve tied form to content and the shift in tone. The imagery is also quite good.

  2. So many ways this poem can be read.
What i took from it is the statement of never giving up because all it takes is one little stroke of good fortune.
    I like this

  3. how many times in life must we hang on to just one little glimmer of hope? beautifully written, Shân. Congratulations on being nominated for poet laureate. definitely well deserved! ♥

  4. I think blistered ankles would stick out like a sore thumb and be hard to abide. But somehow those clouds part and hope is in the heart.

Blurred lines, too. Not fun to look at or through.

    But refocus breaks with delight!

Good job with your word weaving here.

Put me out of my misery people!
